Brief psychotherapy

We carry out a brief therapy of ten sessions focussed on improving coping mechanisms that the person uses to cope with stressful events, that in this moment may have overwhelmed his resources. The most common symptoms that appear in these cases are anxious-depressive symptoms. 

Mainly we are going to find these psychological imbalances as a reaction to a change in external circumstances, either in our environment or in the field of human relations. The person is overwhelmed by his emotions, and his coping resources cannot contain or handle the situation. In brief therapy, lasting approximately ten sessions, we focus on strengthening coping resources and stress management and social skills, so that the person will emerge stronger from the crisis, being much more competent in future occasions.
